PSC Equal Opportunity Employment Policy Statement

It is the policy of Professional Services Corporation to provide equal opportunity for all employees and applicants without regard to sex, race, color, ancestry, religious creed, national origin, physical disability, mental disability, medical condition, age, marital status, political affiliation, sexual orientation, disabled veteran or Vietnam era veteran status. Employment and advancement decisions will be based on an individual?s skills, knowledge, abilities, and other legitimate qualifications.

By definition, a disabled veteran is anyone who is entitled to disability compensation as defined by the Veterans Administration. A veteran of the Vietnam era is anyone who served more than 180 days of active duty between August 5, 1964 and May 7, 1975.

Affirmative action requirements of the federal government are designed to enhance employment opportunities for females and ethnic minorities (Black, Hispanic, Asian, and Native American), people with disabilities and disabled veterans and veterans of the Vietnam era. Affirmative action programs provide for a fuller utilization and development of all human resources.

Affirmative action and equal employment opportunity affects all employment practices at Professional Services Corporation including recruiting, hiring, promotion, compensation, benefits and termination of employment.

As the President, I have appointed John Granata to develop, administer, and monitor affirmative action and other equal employment opportunity programs. Any complaints of discrimination reported to him will be investigated rapidly and if possible in strict confidence.

Harassment of any kind, including sexual harassment is considered a serious behavior problem and will not be tolerated at Professional Services Corporation. Complaints of harassment will be thoroughly investigated. Employees who are found behaving in such a way will be disciplined, up to possible dismissal from employment. If you have a complaint of harassment you may bring it directly to my attention or to the attention of John Granata, the Vice President. Retaliation for filing a complaint of discrimination, of any kind, is not permitted and will not be tolerated.

Joseph Granata, President
Professional Services Corporation
