Joseph Granata
President & CEO
Mr. Granata has over 17 years of experience
in the management, marketing and development of Information Technology
related services and software. He has a proven history of success incorporating
executive leadership, intuitive business acumen, analytical and problem
solving abilities, executive conflict resolution ability, project management
skills, and a strong customer service orientation.
In 1993, Mr. Granata co-founded Professional
Services Corporation (PSC), a company providing a wide range of information
technology consulting services designed to meet the needs of growing businesses.
PSC is a stable, profitable, growing company generating over $4 million
in annual revenue in 1999 and currently employing approximately fifty
people. In his role as co-founder, Mr. Granata is responsible for overseeing
all aspects of business development, proposal development, client relationships,
contract negotiations, and sales training and management.
Prior to co-founding PSC, Mr. Granata was
employed by AGS Information Service, Inc., as a Business Development/Marketing
Manager where he was responsible for all aspects of AGS business and program
development efforts within the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area. Earlier
in his career, Mr. Granata developed software for one of the first true
time-sharing operating systems that were commercially available at the
time. Mr. Granata received a BS degree in computer science. He is an MBA
candidate, with emphasis in Finance, at Marymount University in Arlington,
Virginia, and has completed over 60% of the course curriculum.

Since receiving his doctorate in 1990, Dr.
Granata has been 100% focused on helping organizations leverage cutting-edge
technology to meet their business needs. Along the way, he has co-founded
three successful information technology consulting firms.
In 1990 he co-founded MathWare, Inc. to help
high-tech companies leverage new advances in chip and algorithm design.
In 1993 he co-founded Professional Services Corporation to help organizations
migrate their business solutions to the then emerging Client/Server model.
In 1999 he co-founded SureCode Technologies, Inc. to help enterprises
more effectively leverage open source solutions based on the HTTP protocol.
During his tenure at these firms, Dr. Granata
has had the opportunity to gain hands-on and in-depth experience in all
aspects of the software development life cycle and has been instrumental
in helping numerous clients develop leading edge software products and
Client/Server solutions. He has served as lead programmer, software architect,
project manager, and principal investigator on numerous government and
commercial projects and has received high grades and letters of recommendation
from every customer he has worked with.
Dr. Granata received his Ph.D. in electrical
engineering in 1990 from City College of New York (CCNY). His doctoral
studies were fully supported through two honorary fellowships awarded
to him by the City University of New York (CUNY).
